Blue Rectangle

artetica draws from the archive of the historic Milanese design company I + I  to make the first of a series of patchwork tapestries. Shapes, colours and textures, selected and sewn by hand with creative instinct; they give life to two unique pieces. Interpreting the concept of Laboratorio Futuro, artetica creates a bridge between past and present through an upcycling process, recontextualizing archival materials in a new image.
